Day Programs:

WestView Learning provides day programs for a limited number of students enrolled with Distance Education Providers such as Self Design, Fawkes Academy, Oak and Orca, and other recognized providers. Individualized lessons and small group lessons are available to students with similar interests and learning needs. Subjects included: math, writing, reading, literature studies, science, social studies, art, music, technology… and emphasis is placed on cooperative, collaborative learning which encourages critical and creative thinking.

Tutoring

WestView Learning continues to offer individual. Staff have been trained in the Orton Gillingham intervention for students with difficulty connecting to print. Additionally, our staff will work individually with students to support studying K-12 subjects. For more information email Heather@westviewlearning.ca

After School Programs

We are offering several after school programs at our location, but registered through the Cowichan Valley Community Center. Heading into spring 2024 we are offering  programs in the following:

  • Dungeon & Dragons
  • Stop Motion
